Persecuted
Christians

Over 200 million Christians in at least 60 countries are denied basic human rights solely because of their faith. (Source: World Evangelical Alliance) Every year many Christians are killed because of their faith. Through prayer, encouragement and practical assistance we can assist and fellowship with persecuted Christians in their suffering.

About, "The Bible Unpacked"

The Bible Unpacked presents the Bible’s teaching in a systematic form, primarily with Bible verses. It aims to make the Bible’s teaching readily accessible to all. There are seven editions of The Bible Unpacked, catering for non-Christians through to mature Christians. There are studies based on four of them. The material may be freely downloaded and reproduced for non-profit Christian purposes. In return, users are asked to help persecuted Christians.

There are seven editions of the Bible Unpacked, Two-Minute Edition, Pocket Edition, Concise Edition, Foundations Edition, Intermediate Edition, Comprehensive Edition and the In-Depth Edition. Each edition is an abbreviated version of the next longest one. The four longest have thousands of hyperlinks. For easy use, read Using the PDF File (after the Foreword in these editions). In addition there are four study series: the Concise, Foundations, Intermediate and Comprehensive study series. They are based on the editions with the corresponding names. They contain the same text as the editions, with questions added.

  • "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life." (John 5:24)

Persecuted Christians

Over 200 million Christians in at least 60 countries are denied basic human rights solely because of their faith. (Source: World Evangelical Alliance) Every year many Christians are killed because of their faith. Through prayer, encouragement and practical assistance we can assist and fellowship with persecuted Christians in their suffering. You can play a vital part in this through contacting one of the organizations listed below. Most produce regular news/prayer letters.

  • And the Jesus will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.' (Matthew 25:40)

Barnabas Fund

The mission of the Barnabas Aid is to support Christians where they are in a minority and suffer discrimination, oppression and persecution as a consequence of their faith. Our goal is to strengthen Christian individuals, churches and their communities by providing material and spiritual support in response to needs identified by local Christian leaders.

Christian Faith and Freedom

Based in Canberra, Australia, Christian Faith And Freedom is a Christian human rights organisation serving Christians under persecution, and those who suffer with them. We aim to assist those who suffer at the hands of oppressive governments, communities and individuals because of this allegiance to Christ. Neither do Christian Faith And Freedom discriminate between Christians on the basis of age, race, or gender: if a Christian or group of Christians is experiencing difficulty in their community because of their beliefs, we will do what we can to help them.

Christian Solidarity International

Christian Solidarity International is unique. It is currently the only organization working in the field to free slaves captured by Islamic jihadists during Sudan's civil war, and we are one of the few organizations to shine a light on the disappearance, forced conversions and forced marriages of Christian women in Egypt. My colleagues have repeatedly traveled to terror-torn Iraq to stand in solidarity with that country's beleaguered Christian community, and CSI supports the tiny remnant of Christians who remain in Turkey following the great anti-Christian Genocide and its devastating after-effects.

Open Doors

Open Doors works in the world's most oppressive countries, strengthening Christians to stand strong in the face of persecution and equipping them to shine Christ's light in these dark places. Open Doors uniqueness is found in our core competencies. Take a moment and discover how accessibility, scalability, credibility, and invisibility are crucial to meet the needs effectively of persecuted Christians worldwide.

Religious Liberty Commission

Today, while you read this, over 200 million Christians face persecution for what they believe, while a further 400 million Christians suffer non-trivial systematic discrimination and restrictions on their religious liberties. The RELIGIOUS LIBERTY COMMISSION (RLC) is committed to make a difference, with all the help it can muster from concerned fellow Christians in Australia. It does this as the local arm of World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) RLC, which serves as a co-ordinating and networking team within the international advocacy community, on behalf of Christians persecuted for their faith.

The Bible League

Bible League International provides God's Word to a lost and needy world. We strive to end the global Bible Famine among persecuted Christians, Muslims, and the poor, where Scripture is hard or impossible to get. We support the body of Christ wherever it is impoverished, persecuted or oppressed in more than 55 countries. With help from friends like you, we equip local Christians to plant Bibles, plant churches and share God's love in the hardest, most hostile, most resource-poor places on earth.

Voice of the Martyrs

The Voice of the Martyrs is a non-profit, inter-denominational Christian organization dedicated to assisting the persecuted church worldwide. VOM was founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned 14 years in Communist Romania for his faith in Christ. His wife, Sabina, was imprisoned for three years. In the 1960s, Richard, Sabina, and their son, Mihai, were ransomed out of Romania and came to the United States. Through their travels, the Wurmbrands spread the message of the atrocities that Christians face in restricted nations, while establishing a network of offices dedicated to assisting the persecuted church.
